Confirmed Business Analyst – Market Risks

For one of our clients, a major international investment bank based in London, we are looking for a Business Analyst specialized in market risks. You will work on critical projects, analyzing market risks, writing precise functional specifications, and collaborating closely with Front Office and technical teams to propose quick and tailored solutions to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from Front Office and Risk teams.

• Write clear and detailed functional specifications for the technical teams.

• Participate in the design and improvement of the Risk information system, methodologies, and dashboards.

• Collaborate with developers and testers to ensure that deliverables meet business requirements.

• Contribute to regulatory and compliance projects related to market risks.

• Provide actionable analyses and reporting for business teams and decision-makers.

Desired Profile

• Strong knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and multi-asset products.

• Mastery of market risk management frameworks: VaR, Greeks, stress tests.

• Proven experience in writing functional specifications and translating business needs into technical solutions.

• Good mastery of risk management, data analysis, and reporting tools.

• Excellent analytical and writing skills, synthesizing ability, and communication skills.

• Able to operate in a demanding and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.

• Experience in Front Office or Risk Management is an asset.
